After touring this property, I walked away somewhat deflated. Everything looked so nice on the website and yet when I looked at the unit (1/1), I noted the following:
Entire apartment was in need of painting
Kitchen (specifically breakfast bar) and bathroom vanity top both needed to be replaced
Rooms appeared to be much smaller than I thought they would be
Porch while it was screened in, was in desperate need of paint and perhaps new screens.
Overall there was very little storage space available.
The apartment manager was doing some wheeling and dealing and offering a $400 discount on move in costs if I submitted my paperwork by the 14th.
I would have liked to give it a higher rating especially given the location so close to so much being walking distance to Mall Rd , but first impressions are lasting impressions and Im sorry to say I walked away somewhat disappointed.

I am a current resident who moved in right before new ownership took over a few months ago. I previously rated 5 stars due to TJ the Leasing agent who is no longer at The Paddock Club.
The only good thing about this place is Maintenance guy Shawn he is Awesome. He shows up quickly and works diligently until the problem is fixed.
The Manager is either lazy or overworked but here are the Cons of living here:
Parking is not enforced. You can't even park close to your apartment.
Disrespectful pet owners don't pick up poop and allow their dogs to whine/bark/howl constantly.
Trash is so dirty there are BIG MUTANT FLIES all over it.
Pool stayed dirty while it was open.
They don't clean the breeze ways to apartments only parking lot area.
All that seems to be kept up on is Landscaping. I will not renew my lease.

I am a current resident who moved in right before new ownership took over a few months ago. I am very pleased so far with the new Management. Anytime you live in an apartment community there will be issues whether maintenance or other tenants. However, I am happy to say that the complaints that I have reported to staff were handled quickly and effectively.
TJ the Leasing agent is a Rock Star. He listens and gets the job done. Maintenance guy Shawn is Awesome. He shows up quickly and works diligently until the problem is fixed.
I highly recommend Paddock Club for its location and staff. If I had 1 wish it would be assigned parking spaces for 1 car per apartment but I still rate this place 5 stars.

Let's start from the beginning. When I moved in, the apartment had an odor to it. They didn't even air it out before I arrived. There were white paint spots all over the floors in the bathrooms and kitchen. There was a child living in the apartment above us that ran up and down the floors all day and night. They have glass covers for the kitchen and dining room lights, which fall and shatter after coming loose from the vibrations caused by your upstairs neighbors. Shortly after we started living there, ants started coming in the apartment. They charged me a monthly fee for extermination but it seems they didn't really have the exterminators spray the outsides of the property to keep the bugs away because the ants lasted for most of my lease. The carpet was very cheap and there were blocks under it out in the middle of the floor that I hurt my feet on numerous times before I finally left that place. The toilets clogged easily. If your female dog squats to pee then someone will take a picture and send it to the office who will then charge you a fee for not cleaning up your dog's mess. If you set your bag of trash outside your front door for more than 5 minutes before you walk it down to the other end of the complex to the only dumpster on the complex, then you will be fined. They don't setup a curbside pickup from the trash for large items even though they charge a premium price for their apartments. They don't have assigned parking, so if you get home after 8pm at night, you can expect to have a walk across the property home at night and back out in the morning. It's especially awful during the cold weather. I wanted to buy a house at the end of my lease, but it was going to take longer than the lease to get it. I asked if I could move to a month to month lease for 2 or 3 months until I got it and they told me I would have to sign a new month to month lease with a $300 a month re

I did a quick 20 min tour of the property and the staff were very nice and welcoming. The place is beautiful and seems very well taken care of! I look forward to making this my new home!
