After traveling around the world living in many different apartment complexes, located in a few different countries all while serving my own country I can defenitavly say that living at bluegrass manor has ben one of the most stressful living situations that I've had to endure.

The apartment above mines shower leaked into my bathroom, their solution was to cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling and let the leak continue for close to three months then partiality patch the hole. The bathroom still isn't fixed six months later.

Other than in the kitchen, the stinks don't drain. The two bathrooms in my apartment have stinks that start to hold water the second that the water is turned on. I can't brush my teeth without the sink filling completely up with water. I've contacted maintenance multiple times and I've even tried to use Drano myself. For now I just brush my teeth in the kitchen.

I've walked out to my car in the morning to a notice that my car is to be towed. When I contacted the front office about what i thought was a simple mistake I find out that my car was in "violation" of their strict parking lot policy because it had a piece of rust on the door smaller than the palm of my hand. I have to park a quarter of a mile from my apartment so that I'm not towed. This is very inconvenient during the winter months.

Since I've lived here the complex has added new regulations and policies that I have trouble keeping up with. I agreed to pay my rent with a check or money order when i signed the lease. The way that I'm supposed to pay rent and the day by witch to pay has changed twice. I've been three days late before and come home to a warning or eviction on my door.

Bluegrass manors property management team is unprofessional. I've had my significant other call me, being extremely distraught, after being verbally abused by the women in the office over a check that they misplaced and later found. Their behavior is borderline harassment.

Find somewhere else to live!

Car policy is ridiculous. Poor management.

Amazingly, our car policy came from residents stating if they drove through a community with damaged, rusted or unsightly cars, they would assume their home would be unmaintained and their neighbors unacceptable. It's showing on your review that you're an uncertified future resident. We know that once our residents join our community, they appreciate our management and our attention to detail and service. This apartment has a very unfair policy that states that your vehicle must be spotless. After a guest had been over for one day, they towed that guest's car, although the guest never agreed to the policy. I absolutely will not be renewing my lease. That being said, their staff is courteous and helpful.

We are disappointed to see your review. Our policy is unique. It came from our residents consistently telling us the first thing they looked at were the cars in the parking lot. We understand automobiles are personal items; however, we believe that a car that is not well maintained detracts from the overall appearance of our customer's home. The vehicle agreement lease addendum you consented to also applies to visitor's vehicles. A warning was issued prior to the towing.

Certified Resident

The recent rent hike was totally unexpected and does not seem warranted. The maintenance and office staff are friendly and usually prompt, but I have still had numerous problems with some of the cheaper aspects of the building.
