I have lived here for 7 weeks now. I moved here without looking at the apartment first but don't think it's a bad choice. First CONS, since I feel it's the most important: I was put in a no pets buiding without previous notification (got told while signing the contract). I don't have any, but I do love dogs, so this was a major disappointment for me. I am still trying to get old grime off of the kitchen counters, drawers, shelves and microwave. If I forget to turn on the vent and open the window, the smoke detector WILL go off when I cook. I can hear it happen in other apartments in my building too. If you mind insects, particularly spiders, avoid the first floor. Had issues with pest control the first few weeks but the apartment has been sprayed a couple of times and seems to be under control now ( these apartments are next to the fields). There are switches for living room lighting but no fixtures, so it is a little dark and always rely on the kitchen lights. Because I have never lived in an apartment before, I did not understand what a previous reviewer meant: you can hear EVERYTHING that happens upstairs (flushing toilets, showers, cooking, steps, vacuum, sex... EVERYTHING). I find this very annoying as I am used to my house privacy and space.
The PROS: I have an 'extended' version of the 1 room, so my apartment is very roomy. Walking closet is the size of a small bedroom, there's shelves of every kind in the WC, laundry, pantry, etc. There's a wide coat closet at the entrance and very good storage space all around. The bedroom is large and comfortable. The apartment is at a walking distance from Shopping malls, auto repair shops, doctor offices, restaurants, etc. It is 2 mins away from K96. The curb and parking lots are roomy and comfortable. There are garages available for rent and the grounds are well kept and very pretty. The fitness center is small but has the basic necessities and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice apartments in a nice area. There's plenty of good places to eat and it's just down the street from Target, Cabela's and Academy Sports.
There's a running trail just south of the 96 highway and beautiful housing developments to jog through to the east and southwest.
Quick access to 96 and 254 highways so you can be downtown or on the road in just a few minutes.
In my experience the staff has been helpful and friendly. I would recommend.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE OUTSUDE! The place looks nice from the outside. Inside it's very cheaply built. The manager is just out for your money, not looking out for his residence. Very long delay to get maintenance done. The fitness center is a couple treadmills and a boflex, found myself having to walk through sprinklers on a daily basis which is only a minor inconvenience especially wearing dress cloths trying to enjoy a nice dinner around Wichita i told management and the timer has not changed. Such and easy fix yet nothing done. Needless to say I intend to move out very soon
