Current renter at Marina Point in Wichita, KS.. Don't move here unless you absolutely have to and you can afford incredible electric bills (both heat and a/c) because the buildings are ill-kept and leak air even under the baseboards in the apartments. Answer to windows leaking profusely this winter; "window barrier" - a barrier applied to the windows, along with a tiny bit of caulk, leaving ABSOLUTELY no ability to see out. And, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT YOURSELF! Yes, YOU get the unabashed PRIVELEDGE of taking care of their ill-kept property. MP maintenance did put a air leak barrier around the front door frame rather than replacing the door frame which was an absolute JOKE, doesn't even mate to the wall and is/still is the problem with the door air leak. The door barrier fix made it impossible to lock the door when leaving during really cold weather (literally, I had to leave the apartment UNLOCKED all of January and February). Finally, I sawed a piece of the barrier off so I could lock the door; I'm sure they will charge me for defacing the barrier at some point. You should see the door frame; doesn't even meet the wall! The apartments are old and the wear truly shows; my ceiling has a very obvious repair patch in both the LR and the bath. Don't expect to be able to take a tub bath unless you are under 5 feet tall; just isn't possible as they are retrofitted with small tub/wall inserts. You will run out of hot water because the water heater must be really old, really sediment infested or less than 30 gal. Can't do more than one thing at a time that requires hot water, e.g. shower/bath, laundry, dish washer. Large apartments for a very reasonable monthly rate; but, it just sucks and is NOT worth the money! Oh YES, we must remember there is a "LAKE!!!." No, it's just a large pond and the complex does not own it, nor does Builders, Inc.. So be careful if you manage to get down toward it, the ground is FULL OF BROKEN GLASS, literally FULL OF BROKEN GLAS

Starting with the overall look of the place, the view is just wonderful all the time. The property is well cared for and maintained.The Management staff, as well as maintenance are just superior.

It would be great if they included a gym. It would also be beneficial to those with children if there were an onsight ''??play ground''?'' (fenced in, of course!). Also, parking could be expanded exponentially if the field area (facing the south) was cut just a little.

Maintenance can sometimes take awhile to respond to issues, even a minor issue, such as a leaky faucet. Some residents can be inconsiderate and let their dogs go to the bathroom everywhere, instead of the designated area.
