No advance notice on rent dues, maintenance does not complete jobs.
Sometimes the stations for receiving doggy poop bags are empty for days at a time, which can cause an excessive amount of other dog owners to not pick up after their dogs. However, I have always had pleasant exchanges with all of the office's workers and maintenance men! I love how promptly the maintenance workers respond to any issues I have had as well as them explaining to me what went wrong and how I might be able to aid in preventing some of the problems from happening again!
Some of my current neighbors can drive me crazy with their noise, but I understand that is to be expected and only so much can be done about that.
Water Leaks From Above Me That Has Caused Water Stains And Paint Peeling With Possible Mildue. Still Paying The Regular Rate. With No Repairs Made To Stained Ceiling In Bathroom.
Office staff does not care about its residents. I had 3 separate SEVERE WATER incidents in my apartment and they did NOTHING to help me. The apartment above us had a toilet clog and it leaked through to our unit. The hot water unit caught fire and the maintenance guy on call got mad that I called the fire department. All the office did was call for fans to come dry the unit and did NOTHING to address the potential water damage in the walls and ceiling (mold growth, etc). Our neighbor was banging on the wall to get my dog to bark, then kept complaining about it. They took her complaint more seriously than mine, never addressed my complaint ONCE and kicked my dog out of the unit. DO NOT LIVE IN THIS POOR EXCUSE OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX.
Signed our lease at a given amount (around $580 per month). Our rent was usually $100 or higher every month because of "rubbage fees" and other "fees" not previously mentioned during contract signing. We also received notices at our door and charges to our account for not "tossing our cigarette butts properly" when we never smoked. They refused to remove the fee because, as they put it, they could not 'properly identify' the actual culprits, therefore charging everyone in the area. I was pregnant at the time (so, why would I even be smoking?) and my fiance did not smoke either. Whenever we brought these issues up to management, we were met with equally distasteful conversations. They did not care about our questions and did not seem to have many answers for the ones they bothered answering in the first place. We were extremely disappointed in the service, management, and overall experience of being tenants.
