There are ZERO amenities, save for a small pool. The clubhouse shown in this site's photos does not exist. There is no gym, no business center, no basketball or volleyball or tennis as the courts haven't been maintained, no WIFI. There are 35-40 year old A/C & furnaces. Cheap, bottom level appliances, 1/4" pad and carpet on cement, no storage, poor lighting on paths & parking. If you ARE considering, drive and WALK here at night.
Crickets and spiders are so many, extermination service is now mandatory. Squirrels burrow into the buildings. Every building has water/mold damage and as vents are never cleaned, you get to breathe that. Gas leaks occur from the furnaces forcing an evacuation & mandated inspection. People are leaving in droves with over 25 vacancies. In our time, there have been 5 electrical fires. Turnover is maintenance & office staff is absurd.
There are numerous places within 1-2 miles that offer full amenities and are newer and far better maintained. So, if you need to be in this area, drive Quivira, College, Nieman, 103rd, 119th. No money is invested in upkeep, just check out property streets/curbing/parking.
Strongly advise you to look elsewhere. We are moving at end of our lease.
As a mommy to be, you already have enough stresses going on so the last thing you want is to have to stress over your environment. This place is not one in which you can live a blissful life. Since March when we moved in, we have dealt with a NUMBER of issues. These issues range from flooding to mice. I have found myself even more stressed in my pregnancy dealing with this place than with the pregnancy itself. As soon as we can move, we are absolutely out of here. Sad to say this but unless you are equipped to handle these type things, you are better off looking elsewhere. This one star is being wayyy too generous.
