They don't take Section 8, I need Section 8 housing. looking in Shawnee area.

I have never been so disappointed in an apartment complex. I moved in June of 2022 only to be told I was not allowed a walk through due to someone still living in the apartment. Fast forward to when I move in . There is an abundance of ROACHES that no matter what you do they do not leave . Ive called maintenance, Ive had them come spray multiple times on top of getting my own products, foggers and things to combat the roaches. Nothing has worked. So I decided to talk to some neighbors. Come to find out the ENTIRE complex is infested with ROACHES. Appliances are dirty, the inside of my dishwasher was coated in black stuff, couldnt tell you what it was but definitely looked like mold. There are black spots in the window seal, can barely open the windows, the balcony above me is so bad when the neighbors stand on it you can see the wood moving under them as if it is going to fall. -0 out of 10 would not recommend.

I was in a spot of having to find an apartment quickly and the team at The Village were very sweet and helpful. I am just moving in ans very excited. The ladies have helped me every step of the way. I would totally give them 5 stars and recommend them to others!!

Office Manager very detail oriented and spent the time needed to explain every single policy. She made me very confident that I was signing up at the right place. She also offered me the specials they had at the moment I was signing and her staff very friendly and responded in a timely matter. I hope my apartment as Manager described.

So I have lived here since march of 2019 and the manager of the apartments is rude. I have an on going repair issue from April 2019 a hole in my ceiling form rain leaking in. after months waiting they finally stopped the leak but have not repaid the hole in my ceiling. the common areas e.g. my hallway leading in to my apartment is always dirty and they never clean them. I would never recommend them to any one.
