Life it great when you live at Pinegate! The location is perfect in regards to all that the KC Metro and Downtown have to offer. The facilities and amenities are top notch. I love that we have access 24/7 all year long. The property sits tucked away on a nice green space which is great for pets. The staff is super friendly and treats everyone like family. I'm so glad I made the move to Pinegate!
I moved from a home to an apartment, and pinegate offered all the amenities I was looking for. Most notably the garage with in unit washer and dryer. The managers in the office are great. Maintenace is prompt. On a side note, I would love to see a super aldis store put in where the kmart used to be. That would pure bliss.
Management was great if we had any issues they were resolved immediatly. The grounds were always kept up and we were always informed of activities going on at the apartments.
I love living at Pinegate! The amenities are amazing, from the personable office staff, Marla & Toni, to the maintenance staff who fix any issue and keep the complex looking pristine, Cecil & Pat. Having a garage to park my car is so convenient from the outside elements. The gym in the clubhouse saves me time and money from having to join a gym and able to walk just a few buildings to get my workout in. Though the look of the complex may not be on the cutting edge of sophistication, the homely feel of entering my spacious apartment out-weigh the exterior. I highly suggest anyone looking for an apartment to check out this awesome place to live.
The weight room at Pine Gates East is great for an apartment complex. I wish they would replace the plastic coated weight plates with all metal. Other residents have dropped them and they have started cracking and breaking off the plastic. The cable machine could use some new selector pins the current ones are bent. The patio outside our apartment is slanted pretty good because the rain has washed away some of the dirt, but it's still usable.
My biggest complaint is that the insulation under our spare room, which overhangs the foundation, has been pulled away by stray animals. This causes our spare room to be 10 degrees cooler or warmer depending on the season. In winter I can keep my beer in one of the closets in the spare room because it stays cold enough to drink. Animals continue to live under our apartment, which caused our patio during the summer of 2017 to become infested with fleas and so we couldn't use our patio area until after winter weather killed them. Brought the infestation up to maintenance they said they didn't "see" an issue. I think they sprayed it once, which didn't help. The insulation needs to be replaced under the spare rooms overhang and have chicken wire to keep it in place and to keep animals from getting under our apartment's crawl space. I'd be willing to do the work if the owner would buy the supplies.
