Charged Rent After Move-Out I'm incredibly disappointed with the apartment management. Despite their promise to refund my rent and deposit within 30 days, it has been almost 2 months and I still haven't received my money. The lack of communication and unfulfilled promises make this experience even worse. I strongly advise against choosing this apartment complex due to their unprofessionalism and unreliable financial practices.

I was not a tenant at Sunstone; I was searching for an apartment in a gated community. This complex is not in a gated community. The apartments look very nice, however, there were some amenities/services and/or time constraints that were a deal breaker for me. This complex does not have an onsite fitness center. They have an agreement with the YMCA next door for reduced memberships for tenants based on status (currently $25 if you are single; $45 for a family). The pool hours are limited to 9 AM-9PM; this would not work well with my work schedule. They do not have security cameras on site and will not allow tenants to put them in place, which is a deal breaker for me, especially since this complex is not a gated community. They do not have any covered parking available other than renting a garage for $75/monthly in addition to your monthly rent. With the potential for inclement weather (winter snow and the possibility of hail which often accompanies tornados...KS is in "Tornado Alley"), I wanted protection for my vehicle during inclement weather. They do not have covered carports available to rent; $75/monthly garage rental is a bit steep. According to the leasing agent I spoke with, snow removal during the winter is not done until after it quits snowing. This is not acceptable for me, especially if there is enough accumulation on the ground to prevent me from getting out of my parking space in order to leave for work. They should remove snow if there is 2" or more accumulation. This complex is near McConnell Air Force Base; I was concerned about the constant fly-over noise of planes while trying to sleep. Finally, the distance from my job is a little further out than I wanted to travel. "IF" the aforementioned things were not an issue for me, I would've considered leasing in this complex in spite of the travel distance.

SunStone is One of The best that i looked at while searching for an apartament . Its a great place to live!!

I have lived here for about 3 years now and really like it! The managers go above and beyond by creating different fun events and giveaways. Maintenance is always on top of repairs and do a great job making sure everything stays up to date. Now with the YMCA open back up, we have a gym and a grocery store within walking distance!

We've lived at SunSTONE Apartments for more than two years now, and it was a nice property when we moved in. The current staffing has completely up to the level over the past year. Every single one of them does a fantastic job in their area. I absolutely love our layout and design inside the apartment, and it's wonderful to have the playground, the open area for sports, the basketball court, the pool, and the car wash. Maintenance is amazing. Richard was just in today to check on something I was concerned about, and he even came back to double check. Of all my years in apartments with maintenance, he's probably the most knowledgeable I've seen. He'll give it to you straight, and do everything he can to ensure that things are in working order. It's also pretty impossible to beat being located between the school, the amazing YMCA, and the grocery store. Being off the highway doesn't really bother me sound-wise, and we can get everywhere fast even though we're on the edge of the metro. Our ladies in the main office regularly arrange fun events, and are always helpful when we need anything. I think the only drawback is probably the high price, but it is truly a great place to live.

Richard has been amazing. We have had issues with our washer for some time. Richard has done trouble shooting and tried everything to get it to work. Finally he was able to get a new mother board and it now works great. Thanks Richard for being on top of this and your dedication to getting it fixed right. Sunstone is a great place to live. All the staff are friendly and go out of their way to get things done as quickly as possible.

Staff, facilities, apartment, and everything are all highly rated in our eyes. Maintenance is prompt. Office staff is always on it when it comes to issues, and they’re extremely friendly. “You get what you pay for” is true with this apartment complex. The price is worth it for safe, comfortable, updated apartment living. To top it off, they celebrate holidays, and events by giving residents gifts REGULARLY and sharing quarterly events in an email of the neighborhood! WE LOVE SUNSTONE! (We are a family of four. Two kids under 7.)

A great place to live. My unit was very nice. Amazing staff and management.

Came in and loved the tour experience! Cody offered me a beverage, showed me all the highlights of the community and made me really fall in love with Sunstone. I can’t wait to move here in August!

This is an awesome place to live! So close to so many things! Stephanie and everyone here are quick to respond to any issues! Would highly recommend Sunstone to family and friends!

I have been living at Sunstone for almost a year now and it has been a great experience. The apartments are spacious with a great open floor plan. I live on the second floor in which I would recommend because of the amazing vaulted ceilings and larger storage space. Stephanie and Kim have been great and very understanding property managers. I would recommend Sunstone to anyone who is in the market for a beautiful apartment complex with a great community.

I love everything about it here. The way the staff cares about their residents, is amazing! Everyone knows each others names here. We love to stop by the office to just say hi and see how their weekends went. SunSTONE is not an apartment complex, it’s a family ♥️

Sunstone is the place to be! A community within itself, caring staff and amenities close by. This place is home.
