The Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, a graduate health sciences university in Des Moines, Iowa, has been training students in osteopathic medicine since 1898. DMU is the second oldest osteopathic school in the country and the largest medical school in Iowa, with about 840 of the school's 1,800 or so students enrolled in the osteopathic college.
