Its a great place to live and I love my apartment. I'm very comfortable there.
Sometimes the office staff isn't as communicative as they could be. Took four months to get our names in the call box. Mispronunciations on when things would be done. When they came in to adjust the thermostat they left a huge mess which I then had to cleanup. Then we went a few weeks without them even repainting. Overall this is a nice complex in a great area so I still love living here. Just a few minor irritating things that have since been resolved.
It is apparent the contractors who built the complex were either not properly trained or the supervisors did not review the completed work. Some of the basic things are not done correctly. The outside contractors who are to be repairing the call box in my building have not been able to get the box to work at all since I have been there. This feature is one of the main reasons I chose to live here. It is quite an inconvenience to have to leave my apt and go to the 1st floor to let visitors in.
The heating/cooling system does not operate well for being brand new. In winter the thermostat is set to 78 and on cold nights it would only be 62 in the apartment. When the air conditioner is set at 76 the apartment temp goes to 68. I think the unit needs a better temp sensor. frustrating. easier to control temp by opening and closing patio door or turning on the oven.
The apartments are wonderful and the management has been good so far. The floor system does not have good sound/impact isolation. Our neighbors walk on their heels and it is very loud above the kitchen area; where the floor is carpet is fine.
