The office staff are the best we have ever encountered, after having rented numerous places before. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and really get to know you. I feel like they actually view residents as residents, and not just rent payers. Maintenance is also outstanding. They are very responsive to your needs, and are friendly as well.
Upon taking possession of this apartment (we were never allowed in the apartment before taking possession as it was being repainted and new rug installed) we suffered from allergic reactions from a smell that was always present. We liked the location so we tried to remedy the situation by employing several solutions at our own expense even after the complex hired a vendor to ozone the apartment. We purchased a Bio shield UV-C Air sanitizer system, a ozone generator, AND hired our own vendor for a bio-sweep elimination treatment for a total cost of $500. We felt the apartment was uninhabitable due to the fumes which raised serious concern for our health subjected to prolonged exposure. Due to our concerns and the inability to eliminate the source of the fumes, we were forced to move only after four months. We approached the complex management for flexibility with the lease break provision and were pointedly denied any relief. Our strong recommendation is to avoid Hunters Point Apartments in Zionsville, IN. The property management gave us minimal customer service consideration to rectify the source of the smell. Avoid this complex, there are plenty of better places to live. Deeply disappointed with them.
We believe a possibility of mold in windows and dirty furnace.
First, the positive regarding these apartments. The location is excellent. There are walking trails around and it very accessible to The Village and interstates. For being close to roads it is quiet regarding road noise. It is a very pet friendly complex. The cons: the apartment windows need replaced as well as updating the HVAC system. We had 1/2" frost on the inside of our bedroom windows and it was a mild winter. Our water was only hot 1-2 minutes in the shower then went cold. Maintenance was friendly, but poor. No notice given as to when they were coming for non-routine repairs. Told me they would be back the next day to "finish" a simple repair and they didn't show up. The apartment was much smaller than what was reported, which must have been an external measure. (I used to do real estate and measured it myself). We had continual problems with noise from the neighbor which we attempted to address multiple times and ways to no avail.
Maintenance service is great!! Always comes in the day I need something. They are very accommodating to our needs. Friendly, personable staff. They even lend a hand to help bring groceries up the stairs at times. Very clean. Secure. I feel very safe here.
The wooden stairs are extremely loud.
