Vincennes University has been providing educational opportunities to its students for more than 200 years. Since its beginnings, the college has expanded, and now has campuses in Jasper, Indianapolis and Gibson County. The Indianapolis branch of VU is located at the Purdue University Aviation Technology Center, and offers programs for students looking to earn their bachelor's degrees in business and public service; health sciences and human performance; humanities; science and math; social science and performing arts; and technology, as well as many majors in the aviation field.

When they are not learning about the world of aviation, students can unwind and grab a bite to eat at one of the city's many restaurants. Indianapolis hosts many major sporting events throughout the year, from Colts games to NCAA tournaments and the Indy 500. This up and coming city also attracts many nationally recognized music acts, so students can catch a fun concert in their free time. During the day, Vincennes students can check out some of the city's many museums and other attractions. The can also explore the Fountain Square Cultural District, an area filled with unique shops, restaurants and a growing art scene.
