Northlake Village Apartments

We love our newly renovated apartment! The community is amazing, and with a swimming pool, playground, gym, theater room and more theres always something to do. Lots of shopping and restaurants right down the street make this the PERFECT place to live.

Not enough room for the wheelchair in the kitchen

I wanted to let you know that Friday evening when I came home I parked in front of my building so I wouldn't have to walk so far from my carport space. I had an injury to my foot this past week so I am walking with a special show and a cane. Anyway I had went to the grocery and upon arriving home and having 2 handfuls of bags, as soon as I started towards the door a gentleman that was cutting carpet on the driveway immediately got up, ran over, and opened the door for me. Inside the building there were 3-4 workers, electrical cords going up the steps and so on. I didnt know they were going to be doing this on that day or I would have waited. But one of the guys asked me which way I was going and then started to take my bags from me, all of them to help me to my apartment. as they moved the tools and cords out of the way. I know these guys do not work on site but rather vendors. I think its always important to hear the good things and not always complaints. I was very appreciative for the help and how attentive they were to the situation. Can you please pass this on to the company they work for. In the times we live in very seldom do we see many acts of kindness. It was greatly appreciated. The new carpet and paint looks great in the building hallways as does the new flooring in my apartment! Thank you!

The locks on the doors are so loose you can turn them, there is about a quarter inch gap between door and frame. There is a very bad draft from all windows. If you have an issue with a neighbor or an emergency of any kind, they don't care. I've had to ask 3 or 4 times to get things repaired, they don't adhear to the times my child wasnt home to fix anything. They would show up and make my child leave so they can go in, why ask for good times to show up if you don't use it.

The individual apartments are nice. However trying to coordinate office personal and Maintenence have been an issue for my first eight weeks as a resident here. The work orders for a bedroom door not closing, bathtub peeling, dryer vent clogged and a trickle of hot water that I turned in the first week are not resolved yet. And on a short term lease, my rent is much higher than normal. I have felt like residents here are not a priority, at all.
