The Commons Apartments are ideally located just minutes from major interstates I-265, I-64, and I-65. Come see our modern two bedroom, two bathroom apartments featuring laminate wood flooring, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and 10' vaulted ceilings with exposed duct work. Please note that you do not have to be a student to live in our community. **Applicants must be 21 years of age. The combined gross income for all tenants on the lease must equal to three (3) times the monthly rental amount. We run a credit history report, a criminal background check, and rental reference if applicable.
$300.00 non-refundable pet fee! Monthly pet rent is $20.00 a month, per pet! All pets must be at least 12 months of age. Dogs have a 30 lb weight limit and are breed restricted. Cats must be spayed/neutered. Limit of two pets. Call for other restrictions!

This is a great complex! Everyone is friendly and the move in experience was easy and convinient.
The grounds are awesome, the maintenance staff is prompt, and the property manager is amazing.
This apartment complex is exceptional. The staff (Rachel and Fred) were very professional and extremely helpful. We needed a short term rental while our house was being built and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious, the complex clean and very quiet (never heard any of the other tenants thru the walls). Highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment.
I highly recommend University Commons Apartments. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Excellent staff responds quickly to requests. ( Rachel and Fred are awesome). Clean, modern apartments, with a great floor plan. Easy access to interstate 265. Would still be living here had I not found a house.
I would not advise living here if you value your privacy and peace and quiet, and especially not if you work night shift. I live on the ground floor and I can hear my upstairs neighbors conversations clearly, and I'm sure they can hear mine. They're loud enough to wake me up during the day when I'm sleeping. I understand that hearing your neighbors is just part of apartment living, but I shouldn't be able to make out every word they're saying. I also get woken up every Tuesday by weed whackers and leaf blowers, which sound extremely loud through the thin walls. These newer apartments may look nice, but they are cheaply made and have poor sound insulation.
What is a Certified Resident?
A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
Advertising properties provide a list of email addresses of its residents to Kingsley Associates, a third party market research firm, who then sends out the satisfaction survey to the residents. Properties may also conduct satisfaction surveys of its residents through other third party market research firms. In those cases, we will publish those survey responses as long as the questions conform to our standard survey format.
Because reviews are from Certified Residents, and are managed by a third party, you can feel confident that the feedback provided is accurate and trustworthy.
