The Breakwater

The apartments are very stylish. I have the smallest studio available. While it is small, it is spacious. Once I got my stuff inside l was surprised by the design and how it lends to creativity in storage. Thus use your imagination and you will be fine. It reminds me of an ocean condo along the coast. The design seems to replicate that IMO. The area is vacant of the homeless drug addicts common in the bridge area of Jeff. New Albany is clean, this area feels safe. This is very nice. The apartment complex is impressively quiet. I wouldn't consider my complex a college/party area at all. You absolutely couldn't ask for a better management group than what is here. Kourtney is the apartment manager and is super sweet. The type, you want to friend and take to lunch, but at the same time she is very in tune and has with-it-ness. She has a way with words attempting to loop ppl with dishonesty. Every time I have reached put to her, she's been responsive within a few hours. When I first applied she went above and beyond the call of duty, staying 90 mins later to assist me. Maintenance is horrible! They don't do as they promise. They left me hanging day after day with false promises and no shows. Anyone who has ever waited for a maintenance visit understands how inconvenient it is to wait for maintenance, it throws the entire day off. They would promise me Monday and by the end of Tuesday no word. No matter my issue I will never again contact them no matter what. Not worth it.

Kourtney, Breakwater's Manager,made renting for corporate housing a breeze. The unit was clean and the amenities good. The community board makes for good camaraderie with neighbors.

End of lease process is horrible. Manager makes it hard for you to exit.
