No response following inquiry x 1 week.
No one got back with me...
We moved into a house that they manage almost a year ago. We are renewing our lease. There are some minor issues but they have all been addressed in a timely manner and some of the issues are just relatively normal quirks that older homes sometimes have. The staff are all friendly and respectful and they give plenty of notice before coming to do any non-requested maintenance. Only problem I have had is that it seems like the people at the top dont always communicate well with the people who take care of day to day operations and the day to day people dont seem to communicate well with their contracted maintenance people.
No call back
Unbelievably incompetent. Maintenance requests range from 1 week to over a month.They refuse to answer my emails. This office is completely mismanaged, and it shows. Further, on my very first visit, I was assured a laundry list of items would be fixed, but it's been a battle all the way. The discrepancy between initial promises and lack of action indicate either lies or complete incompetence. I won't claim which. And, annual rent increases for what.... even worse service? Some facts:
* Winter electricity bills are 265/month because the building isn't insulated at all.
*Renters agreement requires me to keep the house at minimum 55F, but the baseboard heating at FULL BLAST can't maintain over 47F in the kitchen on very cold days. Their response was that "baseboard heating isn't efficient."
*Last summer, the repair guy fixed drafty windows by slapping black duct tape over the gaps on white windows.
*Fixing torn screens? No, cheap expandable ones from Home Depot that let the bugs fly in. Open request for over 3 weeks after the owner contacted MgmtAdv to get new screens made with no traction.
*Also, the stove blocks the GFCI plug in the kitchen... refused to do anything about that, too.
*I was reprimanded for putting several line items in the same maintenance request. They don't tell you that you shouldn't do it, but certainly don't approve of the practice.
*Windows locks aren't aligned properly, so the solution was to provide me with 1" round wooden dowels to shove into the window frame. I understand the building settles, but they decided to cheap out on window repair and can live with those consequences.
*MgmtAdv allows nearly 3 months for maintenance request that isn't completed yet
