I signed a lease here in June because I was told they were going to put an in-unit washer and dryer in my unit by the end of the summer. That promise is what made me sign because I figured I could go a month or two without it. It is now December and I have heard nothing from maintence or management staff about this getting done. I have emailed management 3 times now and have never received a response. I finally went down to ask about it in person and was told they were just running "a few months behind". I have since seen maintenance installing washers and dryers into empty apartments rather than the apartments they told people would have in-unit laundry. It is extremely disappointing I have not had any response from management and have now gone 6 months without the washer and dryer they promised me upon signing my lease.

Ive been here since 2016 and I really dont have any complaints. I moved here because of the security features, key fobs to get in and out of the facility at night , key fob to get up to your floor. Never had a problem with the staff, and I love the fact that they have concierge service so I never have to worry about my packages not being safe. I enjoy all the amenities and II like the historic value.. It is somewhat pricey I assume but it works for me. I plan to stay here until I move out of state.

$265 was my first full month electric bill after moving into the Marott in September. That includes minimal use of cooking appliances and LED bulbs. Where most of that comes from is running the air conditioner 24 hours a day, every day, which still wont cool my apartment down to 72 degreeseven after spending more than $200 on blackout curtains. Eventually the time in the year will come that the air conditioning can cool it down to 72 degrees. Forget about keeping the fan on for white noise. Regardless of what the thermostat is set to, it will always try to cool your apartment more and more. Thats unfortunate if youre like me and you like the white noise of a furnace/ac fan always blowing as youll really want it for all the noise outsidemotorcycles and cars pounding their base. It sounds like a MotoGP race outside every evening. Come spring time youll find out that, despite your apartment regularly being 78 degrees when you get home from work, you dont have access to air conditioning until they feel like its the right time to turn it on. Youll be encouraged to open windows and use fans which invites the same aforementioned noise on the street. Its common there isnt enough water pressure to even keep the shower on. The uneven surface causes the parking lot to flood when raining and for some time after. I didnt notice until after moving in that the kitchen lights are fluorescent like the kind at Wal-Mart. Kitchen cabinet shelves are very porous and are heavily marked with stainslooks to be oil basedfrom previous residents. Upper level common areas arent air conditioned. All except a few months that Ive lived here the indoor pool, fitness center, and business center have been totally inaccessible for a couple of reasons. They didnt follow the lead of insurance companies during covidrefunding money or at least making allowances for money spent but not usedbut instead charging more for lease renewals.
