I called ahead to set up an appointment to tour this property, they were really nice on the phone. Asked me questions, like when I'll move in, what I am looking for, etc. But when I went in for my apartment tour, I met with their front desk employee. She did not look at us when we walked in, just insisted we sit until she was ready. Once she was finished, we all sat at a table together to go over general information, she handed us a pamphlet. But once she discovered that we were not applying that day, we were just touring, her mood completely changed. She immediately took the pamphlet away and put it back and we started heading to the apartment to tour. She was very short and rude the entire time and hurried us out. We walked into this apartment complex very excited and left very confused and upset.
I do not want to live in an apartment where the staff treats its incomers so rudely, I can only imagine what the residents have to deal with!
Looking for a great environment to live in
Do not move here!! The office staff is constantly changing and no one ever knows what they are talking about and they never get back to you if you actually get a hold of them in the first place. They don't upkeep anything. The pool wasn't open the entire summer, the entryway lights were out for months, and safety is a concern. There was a shooting in the complex when we lived there. While we still had the apartment maintenance busted the lock on our door to get in we were told when we came home to find we couldn't get in our own apartment.
WHATEVER YOU DO, do not move into the landings. The office staff are beyond rude and not helpful at all.
Went in last Monday and spoke with property manager about issues I have been having with my apartment. Even made a list of things I was unhappy with and gave it to her. Came in today and spoke with "her boss" who proceeded to try to have the conversation about MY issues in the lobby while there were potential residents waiting. I had to intervene and tell her that I did not feel comfortable talking about my issues that I've been having in the open. Once we finally got to a private area she told me none of my complaints have been documented and that she has no proof that the property manager told me that I could give a 30 day notice. She told me that there was nothing she could do for me about the lease agreement. Of course I'm very upset and seemed like I was making her upset! Who wants to live with broken steps at the entry, trash around the buildings, horrible office staff, and seeing ROACHES in there home! I've lived here for years and just can't believe I'm going through this!
