New management has come in and wrecked the place. The pool has been closed since Tuesday after memorial day with no open date in site. The fitness center no longer has sanitizing wipes. The "care care center" is just a driveway at the maintenance shed without even a hose. I renewed my lease in december for a 3rd lease and it WILL BE MY LAST! This place sucks now! There is one saving grace... the one last maintenance crew member from the old company, drese... but I'm sure at the rate they are going he will be leaving soon too!
I lived here for 15 months. The apartments themselves were great and very beautiful. No complaints about the specific apartments. But maintenance and staff had vindictive attitudes and were taking personal problems out on other propels it seemed. They fined us for having a trash bag on our back porch for 5 minutes. Neighbors- leave trash bag out for hours almost daily: no fines. The office staff had bad attitudes and were very condescending and unhelpful. I had a horrific experience with maintenances, as well. One of our appliance was filling up with water and fast. We did not know if something was going to happen or not, but I called maintenance. On this particular Saturday, he said it was not a priority and I accepted that. He said someone would come Monday. Well I have a friend come over and fix our sink, the drain, and the leak that was not a priority, even though we pay for water. All of a sudden, the maintenance man shows up at my door. I told him thank you for coming but my friend fixed it and I was going to call you back before Monday. While I understood that he was frustrated, he caused this situation. He specifically told me Monday and that it was not a priority. He dealt with his frustration with words and vulgarities, not pointed directly toward me, but incredibly unprofessional. Then he said he was upset that I did not call back, and actually started arguing with me. I was incredibly horrified. I could keep going but unfortunately I do not have the time to write a novel. Please be careful and consider all of your options before moving here.
As stated, a new management company took over in May-June of 2018. It has been a disaster. The pool is closed indefinitely and from the way it looked today it doesn't appear they are even trying to fix the problem - letting algae grow. The front office is understaffed and what staff they do have seem more concerned with trying to get new tenants and not about keeping current tenants. They literally cannot keep the lights on. I reported a week ago the lights in our alcove were out along with the lights behind our building and light bulbs have still not been replaced. I have lived here three years and had planned on renewing my lease in December, but new management makes it awfully hard to justify the price of living here.
New managment is horrible any good reviews you read about are not them. Lived here a year won't be re leasing. If something looks to good it is renter beware. On top of that plenty of places of equal quality in the circle for same price if not cheaper.
I was met by Ashley who showed me the apartment choices and was very impressed. I would choose to live here out of five others I looked at. Thanks for the tour.
