Nice place.nice pool
Back before this apartment was bought by a new leasing agency, this was the place to be. Everyone was so friendly and nice and always had a great time together. But now, i have never expirenced management so poor before. They dont care about their residents, they only care about making more money. The staff if always so nasty & rude & act like youre bothering them if you have a question. They make the apartments look a lot nicer in pictures, rather than in person. Upon moving in, i spent more time cleaning my room than unpacking my things. The complex lobby, elevator, hallways, are always filled with trash and STINK. They set you up with random roommates then force you to pay more money to transfer if you arent happy with your living situation. All it is is over priced rooms that make it seem like you are getting a deal, although you are not. My main problem is the staff and how horrible they treat you. Most people who live here, hate it but cant leave until their lease is up. Nothing about this apartment complex is well and i truly advise everyone to not move here!
The staff and management team are unhelpful. The parking situation is unclear, unfair, and problematic. There is constant partying going on in the building (nonstop on weekends), and a massive amount of non-residence coming and going as well. The trash chutes are almost always locked, as if one door is left open on a floor the entire system is locked on all other floors. This means trash piles up in the hallways, attracting bugs and making the whole place smell.
The management team changed during lease period, they changed prices, started charging extra for utilities and charged two periods every other month instead of monthly. Was promised that I would get roommates, did not receive any roommates the whole time period I was at the Lux. Was also told the utilities would be split 4 ways whether it was just me or 3 other people living there, utilities were around $160 A MONTH for JUST me, while I spent 40 hours at work and 30 hours in class, also I was never around to use $160 worth of utilities. Maintence "inspected" 4 times while living there, would go through all of my personal property. Maintence found a leak in another room and broke into my apartment about 10 other times with NO warning, and didn't even KNOCK. I was a single woman living there alone and they would come in early hours when I was still sleeping, all being grown men. They did some maintence on the other room, leaving dust and dry wall from where they cut into the wall (?) EVERYWHERE. Left for about two weeks, didn't bother telling me when it would be finished or when they would be back to work on it. I moved out a week prior to my move out date to be ahead of things and they inspected my room 3 days before moving out with no notice, it was obviously unclean due to the fact that I planned on coming back and cleaning it. When I did come back to clean they had CHANGED THE LOCK, a WEEK before my official move out date. They took HOURS to figure out the new lock and left me with 30 minutes to clean the apartment that I had arrived hours before to clean. They said that I had to turn in the keys by 6PM or I would be fined, when it CLEARLY STATES in the lease that the keys had to be turned in by midnight. Due to that I could only clean what I was able to in 30 minutes. They proceeded to charge me $400 for the cleaning they had to do and "damage" in which I had hung pictures on the wall? DO NOT move here, it is not what it seems, they are RIDICULOUS in every way.
I have been consistantly let down by the performance of the staff. The facility us always filthy, the trash shoot never works, and the system for running the parking garage is awful. There is no opportunity for visitors to park without being towed. AND now they decided that the process should be raised.
