Outer walls are not insulated, in first floor units the carpet is even cold, its so bad that you can hear the person upstairs talking on the phone! Forget about sleep since its so awfully insulated and freezing during the winter plus people walking around above. The patio door doesnt stay closed unless its locked. Constant drug activity with cars all night in a small parking lot which doesnt go through/connect anywhere. Management, staff and maintenance personnel are always changing nor do they help. The view is the only decent thing to earn 1 star. Vi
I completed my first week here. Where to start from? As soon as I moved in, my $300 dinning set (which I had ordered online) got stolen. I spoke with office, she said the manager would call me. Still I haven't received a call from the manager. Not that a call from manager was going to bring back my lost table but a package getting stolen is a big thing. (Really shows their concern over a package getting stolen). Neighbors say things get stolen here all the time. Something as small as jumper cable from car. There are no cctv cameras here. Considering everything I took a garage and the door isn't getting locked. Anyone can open it without using the key.I told them on Monday(Sept 25) as soon as I got a garage. The lady at the office also tried to lock it but could not.(It was sweet of her to try it while it was already 6 pm and she was leaving. Brownie points for that.) I called them again on Tuesday and reminded them since I told them at the end of the day. Reminded them again on Saturday, Sept 30 and once again today, Oct 1. The reply I got today was "Our maintenance works on emergency basis." So a resident is paying full price for a faulty garage at the risk of getting stolen. All this clearly shows that they have no interest in the welfare of the residents. It is like openly inviting someone to steal.(No cctvs, garage door still faulty; Also the main gate of the apt does not close properly.) Next laundry card... I got first laundry card, faulty. Went to them on Sept 30 got a new one, still faulty. Yet to get a third one lol.. So my money is blocked on both my laundry cards and I am trying to do my laundry for the past two days. Why can they not throw away the cards that are not working and why give faulty cards to new residents? I will not recommend these apt to anyone. Not even for extra referral money. Wish there were no stars for this. If you go and complain and be nice to them they are nice to you. Today when I finally lost my patience and told them about the
The maintenance staff is pretty quick with repairs and you can get something fixed within a day or so of submitting a request. However, the staff that works in the leasing office is usually rude. And the managers are not very responsive to calls or e-mails on concerns with billing. They are a little unorganized and are not good with recordkeeping. I've had to use multiple forms of communication to pass on information for my move-out. They may take care of you when you move in but it's a different story when you move out. It's a shame they can't take care of business professionally near the end of your stay.
