I moved to Auburn Hill almost a year ago and I can say that I absolutely love it here. I am an IUPUI student and it is a very simple drive to campus. It usually takes me about 10 minutes or less to get to class and is a very central location to downtown and to Plainfield and Avon. It is also right off the 465 which is also very convenient when needing to get to the interstate. I love this area and the office staff has also been so friendly and accommodating. I have a lot of friends that live out here as well but the residents that I have met have always been so friendly and will never hesitate to wave or ask me how my day is going. I like Auburn Hill so much because it feels like a home and a community and I plan on renewing my lease for another year until I graduate. Thank you Auburn Hill for giving me a cozy place to call home for the time being :)
It isnt safe to live here. Someone broke the back window out in my boyfriends work truck and stole expensive work tools. This isnt a one time incident either, neighbors have complained about their vehicles also being burglarized. They have courtesy officers but in reality its just officers living in the complex because they never patrol or anything. You should feel safe in your living community and this apartment community is far from safe so stay away from living in Auburn Hill Apartments.
I pay $1000 a month to live here and I rarely find PARKING in front of my building. When you report the parking violations to the management they want the resident to call out a tow truck.
Resident's cars are broken into and VANDALIZED.
Loud music can be heard from cars in the middle of the night and the management won't do anything unless you file a police report, but the police have to witness the LOUD MUSIC.
Returned from work to find DRUGS are being used outside my build.
Management closed off the rent drop off box because resident's checks were being STOLEN from their office.
I lived in this apartment for a few years, until transferring to another unit. Despite my loyalty, the office staff neglected to tell me that the apartment that I was transferring to had a mice infestation. Once I found out about the infestation, office staff stated that they could give me mouse traps. As much as I pay in rent, I do not believe this is how loyal tenets should be treated. I will never reside here again after my lease is up. I'm almost tempted to terminate my lease once permitted.
