Love the parking and the close and convenient proximity of 9 on Canal to so many things to do in Indy. (The canal, restaurants, shops, stadium, airport, venues, etc.) I enjoy the amazing views of the city from the dog park and I enjoy walking my dog along the canal as well. He loves it too! :)
Ive had to update my review. I used to be so happy when I first moved in. Now I see all the problems living here. They charge astronomical prices because its luxury living on the canal, but this is a lie. I have spent 1/4 of my time here with no air conditioning, as in two out of eight months. They try to just put little cheap bandaids on a huge issue so it keeps going out. They tote on the Amenities, but the lounge and terrace have to be reserved for another $300 if you want to have a group of people over. We are already charged an amenity fee every month why do we have to pay even more to use the space. This charge was even in place during the time we were not allowed in any of the amenities due to the pandemic. I understand you cant control a pandemic but why am I charged for something I cannot use? There is currently a door taped open Because it broke and That was their solution. The carpets are out of date but they are working on replacing them. I am still charged the same as people with updated apartments though. There was mold in my room and the solution was to put a loud fan pointed at the window to get rid of condensation, which I was supposed to leave on all the time, but at least the fan is now in my room for the months I have no air conditioning (its still 86 in here). Lastly (although I could go on), they have to have set a record in turnover of managers. They have replaced the entire staff multiple times in my time here. That should be a red flag of the management company running the building. Now the poor new people that have inherited these issue have no one to guide them where to go next! Please save yourself money, headaches, and frustration and live literally anywhere else! Youll thank me one day!
If you're looking for an apartment building to catfish you? then you've found it. "luxury" units that vary on space depending on where in the building it's located. Also half of the building has hallow floors and the other half is concrete, so take that into consideration. Other issues for residents: the garage is public and private parking, the gate/fence system is broken for the garage often. the elevator was often broken for the reason that they didn't want to pay more to have it actually repaired fully. The key system sucks, I get security but part of that is also not having broken doors all around your building. and all of this can be yours for the "low" price of $1,300 per month + parking pass fees /pet fees / and utilities of course so let's just make it $1,500 for a 505 sq foot shoebox in a semi convenient location.
