Although there are many different campuses, the school's Bloomington campus is its flagship location and the one with the most history. Originally opened in 1820, the school was first operated as a seminary but it soon greatly expanded its offerings and today students can choose from 120 different major programs.

Not only does Indiana University have a wide variety of majors, but the quality of the programs are among the best in the United States.
