Cityscape Flats

The noise both inside and from the ballpark is excessive. Baseball games that run late due to rain or for makeup games also means the cleaning crew will be making noise till 1 am or 2 am. The leaf-blowing type equipment they use is very loud and runs for 30-45 minutes after the fireworks. Games and special events happen most nights during the summer, so this issue is not isolated. We are looking forward to the winter in the hopes it will be quiet finally! There are also issues with poor service by the management staff and various miscellaneous fees that show up each month on the rental statement just when you think you have figured out your monthly costs, some new fee appears. The only saving grace has been that the building is new and pretty empty. As they reach renting capacity, I can only imagine the noise complaints that will happen.

My brother and girlfriend

My wife and I moved to Fort Wayne, IN from Minnesota. We could not be any happier with our choice to move to CityScape Flats. Since we moved to FW in July we have been able to enjoy all that Downtown Fort Wayne has to offer. Great restaurants and entertainment are all in walking distance, and we wouldn't be able to enjoy nearly as as much of this if we lived in the suburbs. After living in Minneapolis, MN and Berkeley, CA I cannot believe how inexpensive this city is, as our apartment would go for at least twice as much in most other cities. We have enjoyed the TinCaps games right across the street probably more than any other opportunity. The biggest "negative" I here from my new friends in the area is an apparent old held belief that downtown isn't "safe". As a transplant from other areas of the country I couldn't disagree more. CityScape is a lock gated community, with a private gated garage. I have never felt unsafe on property or while be out in our community.
