The location of this apartment logistically is great! Walking distance to so many restaurants, stores and the activities (farmers market, concerts, events) during the summer is great too. But it comes with a price- the noise level for the outside apartments is crazy- trucks, honking, people talking. The garage situation is not acceptable- when you pay so much for rent you should have assigned parking. Instead it is a parking war to try to get a spot close to your garage door. Rent is high and although the apartments are nice, they are small. I had a loud walker living above me which was very irritating. I reported it to the office and even though they asked him to not stomp on the floor from 7 am to midnight, he didn't care. The office knew he was a loud walker as he was in a different apartment previously and the folks below him moved out because he was so loud. The apartment office still placed him in the apartment above me instead of requiring him to live on the first floor. I couldn't move out fast enough. This is a high end apartment yet the hallways were dark and drab. We had issues with the front door entrance, and the garage entrance, the pool was only open until 9 pm and the garage and stairwells were incredibly dirty. They did the best they could with the bike room, but it was clearly not big enough to accommodate all the bikes for the amount of apartments. Another battle for space. I lived here for a year and enjoyed the location, the pool and the office staff. But I am much happier in my quiet, larger, cheaper place, just a mile down the road.
I lived at The Depot for more than two years. My experience was very good. Convenient location, residence was quiet and well maintained. I would highly recommend The Depot to anyone who is looking for apartment living in Fishers.
Beautiful community, excellent value. I was a homeowner for 15 years, but love love love living here.
Overall, living at the Depot was good. However, maintenance (cleaning hallways, etc. ) suffered from a lack of attention. Exterior plantings were allowed to deteriorate in several areas.
If you would ever like a guest to stay overnight at any point, do not live here. Thanks to the city of Fishers there is no overnight parking available in the Nickel Plate area for guests.
