Sugar Mill offers unique features found nowhere else. A community filled with beautiful landscaping, pristine streams winding their way past buildings and bridges. A tranquil setting just minutes from Evansville's busy eastside.
I loved living there. My husband was deployed at the time so I was living alone with my then two year old child. I felt very comfortable living alone at Sugar Mill. My area was quiet and everyone kept to themselves. Sugar Mill didn't bombard you with Information or notices to your door- they let you actually have a home of your own. From what I remember you were able to paint your apartment as long as you turned it back to a basic primer when you moved and I hung a lot of things on the walls. The office staff was nice and although some maintenance requests took a few days for the small stuff they were out quickly on my AC. They even came out when I first moved in and discovered someone put those light up stars on my ceiling, they took the time to remove every single one for me. They have a transfer clause in the lease where you had to be there for a certain amount of time and then you could transfer with your job, my husband was returning to the States sooner than expected and all I had to do was turn in his order forms to go back to Ft. Riley and we were approved to move-out early. I had no issues living at Sugar Mill and would recommend this complex to anyone.
The air conditioning is trash.
Worth the higher prices! You wont be disappointed. If you can afford it, DO IT!!! All the workers here are nice, and the standards and quality are high. Pool is gorgeous too!
