Residing prominently on the riverfront of the majestic Ohio River in Evansville, IN, The McCurdy is one of the most iconic buildings throughout all of the Midwest.
Boasting a Colonial Revival architectural style, the former hotel has welcomed countless prominent visitors throughout its rich history, including U.S. Presidents and Oscar-winning Hollywood actors. Originally opened in 1917, this grand property has recently undergone a massive renovation that brings the building amenities into the 21st century, while at the same time preserving its original grandeur.
The expansive lobby, grand ballroom, and exquisite corridors have been completely refurbished, while the original hotel rooms have been demolished to make way for state-of-the-art apartments.
As the building's first 100 years draw to a close, it welcomes a fresh, exciting chapter for a new generation that will come to understand and appreciate what The McCurdy has meant to the community of Evansville, IN.
