Trying to help my dad to get an apartment a one-bedroom and he's a senior citizen but had no luck because the income was too high

I've known a few people who lived here & they really liked it. I'm sure I'll love it IF I get in. It's a Retirement Community that accepts dogs & cats but folks need to be sure they've potty trained their animals & leash them while outdoors (my opinion). I'm retired, disabled & my Service Dog is a barkless breed (Basenji) & all I want is a quiet place to live with shopping fairly close. The city bus runs by Horizon & Hardee's is across the street! Got my fingers crossed!

I want apartment as soon as possible if possible at the end of August to the beginning of September 5 .

This apartments is under new management. The Martin Group sold the property a couple years ago. It now only 1 maintence man for 148 units to get ready for new move in people. Unless it is a emergency like air conditioner or heat out you will beg over and over to get anything fixed. Once you are in that is it. Martin group sprayed for bugs every month, now they spray like every 4 months. Money talks. For what you pay it decent. With Martin group you could throw away old furniture in garbage bin to help you be neet. Not anymoe. Now you have to rent a truck. Martin group use to let you put rent in slot on 5th at night. Not anymore, better pay before close. Martin group use to make you a copy of important papers free. Not these new people. No copies period! You get what you pay for people. These apartments run in the middle. They still decent.

I am not sure of the wait time or how long the list is but i think this would be a good fit for me.

Decent. No bugs, also checks for bed bugs. Heat and air blows from ceiling. No ceiling lights. Poor installation. Power bills expensive for size. No sink in laundry room but kept up. Studios thin walls, one bedroom a little better for t.v. noise ect; Majority neighbors are G.E.D. or less educated. Manager is nice and will take time to listen. No security cameras. Little or no crime. Manager is attentive.
