I have lived here since 2013 and this used to be a very nice place to live but since new management in August, it has become a nightmare. No maintenance, no snow removal or treatment of sidewalks creating hazardous conditions. Water slab leaks being ignored and repeated water heater failures lead to several times being without hot water in the middle of winter, last time lasting 2 weeks! When they finally admitted there was a slab leak, it lead to my kitchen being torn up and there was no consideration made to my rent. Do not move here if you want a quiet, well maintained, peaceful home!!
Came in today to replace cabinet doors and this is what I found . Cabinet doors missing and trash on floor. Would not rent from them !!!
Too expensive. You never know if you are going to have hot water. Maintenance never shows up. Most of the windows don't close or dangerously try to fall off the track when closing. Kitchen floor appears to be sinking. Back sliding glass door barely opens. Water leaks inside the house around the glass in the front door. Most of the doorknobs don't function properly. Furnace and central air have never been maintenance. It use to be a nice place to live. I feel they should pay us to live here or drop our rent back down since most of us take care of the maintenance that we pay for. Don't know move here.
I lived at Columns for just short of 7 years and loved it! New Management came in August; we were gone at Novembers end. Look elsewhere!
I have lived here since 2015. Now the new property management company is in a big rush to do renovations. The maintenance use to be good now it is non-existent. This was a very quiet community however they are doing renovations. There are workers everywhere and office seems to care for them over the tenants. There is constant plumbing problems. They hiked up the rent $300 to cover the renovations. I don't want new appliances my old ones work just fine.
