My husband and I just got married in August, and we've been living here for the last few months. It's perfect for what we needed. It's a decent apartment, and we've had no need to call maintenance so far. The kitchen doesn't have a ton of storage space (for a recently married couple who registered for a lot of appliances and kitchen things), but that's the only issue we've run into with the place, and honestly, it's not even an issue. It's an apartment, not a house, so we weren't expecting abundant kitchen space. The office has been kind and helpful the few times that we've needed something or had questions. They are pet friendly, though it's expensive to have a pet here, so we haven't. Overall, not luxury, but a great apartment!
We need more dog clean up stations!!!!
Pros:Great place for those looking for a quiet neighborhood. Nice apartments. There were a few initial issues, such as problems with plumbing and blinds but the staff was well aware. These problems were fixed quickly. Nice swimming pool; peaceful neighborhood.Cons:Make sure you pay your rent on time, otherwise the staff will chase after you. If you are proficient at punctual payment, this apartment will work well for you.
It was my first apt in Bloomington, and I got my entire deposit back when I moved out, which I didn't realize was such an amazing thing at the time. The management was always accommodating, they allowed me a few month lease extension, didn't overenforce any rules. The only issue I remember having was with incredibly loose outlets (plugs fell out of the wall often). And the 6L isn't the most convenient bus line, but it works. I've considered moving back a couple times. The maintenance, professionalism, willingness to accommodate, and fairness is just... SO much better than the other places I've lived since then (Deer Park and Regency Court).
No issues and great communication with management.
