Regency Preserve

My Husband and I are looking to move this summer so we decided to go take a look and inquire about moving for the future. The neighborhood is picture perfect. Very quiet upcoming neighborhood in Avon,beautiful scenary,very spacious. I like the fact that it gives you the "home/subdivision feel without actually owning a home just yet. You have your own space,you dont have to worry about noise from neighbors under or above you, you don't have to worry about parking, or going to the nearest laundry facility or gym, because they have a gym onsite for residents,and washer and dryers inside of each unit. I cannot wait to call this place our home.So far the staff has been very helpful, always available and very pleasant to our needs. Very very disappointing. On move in day, we did the walk through and immediately noticed that it hadn't been painted. There were cob webs on the walls/corners, marks on the walls, corner edge of the walls have nicks on them, dust on the base boards, and scratches on the walls/door casing (like the previous owner had a dog/cat that clawed these areas). I'm positive the previous resident had a pet because the floors had pet hair all over them. I addressed this and was told that it had been painted. I explained that there was no way it could have been painted. The previous residents just moved out 10 days prior to us moving in and dust and cob webs don't accumulate in 10 days on freshly painted walls and base boards. Eventually I was told that they would send the painters out to take care of it. Called 3 times because painters never came. Finally showed up with a paint can and brush. Said he was here to touch up. Called the office again, this time I was told "they can't paint your entire place with your belongings in there, it would be a liability issue". I finally said so i guess I'm going to have to paint the place myself? I was told that she would email me the paint color and where to get it that day. 2 weeks later...no e-mail with the paint information. I went and got the best match that I could. Doesn't match and looks horrible!! Can't even finish painting (to big of a job for just me). Moving in I also told the office about a problem with the threshold and nails sticking up. I was told that they didn't have a maintenance man at the moment. Eventually, I called again. They had a maintenance man, he came to fix it, didn't last more than a day. Ended up calling 3 more times...eventually I gave up. Moved here in December, still not painted and threshold still has nails sticking up from it. My sister wanted to move here as well as a good friend, told them both NOT TO. They would have to paint their place and would have to do their own maintenance. Very disappointed.

Unbelievable value and the neighborhood is pristine . Staff at every level is over the top. My maintenance requests have been few and they are completed in a very timely manner. Further they are quick to communicate the rules if necessary to all tenants. I really appreciate their efforts in a timely friendly manner. I am especially impressed with Cassandra and Justin.

This place is awesome! I can't say enough good things about the staff; they are very kind and attentive. The apartments are beautiful, solidly built and the neighborhood is very quiet. Our next step will be to buy a house, but we will really miss our duplex.

I moved to Regency Preserve Office in October. It is a wonderful place to live. The office staff here are so nice and caring. I love the fact that they take care of the lawn and Justin is doing a great job with the snow removal! The workout center is wonderful and cant wait for the pool to be ready this Summer. If youre looking for a great place to call home make sure you check Regency Preserve out. You wont be disappointed. Debbie
