As Many of outgoing tenants posted reviews here. I felt like this is the place where some of incoming tenants will land at this website. So i'm posting my review here for new tenants willing to come to stay in this property in future.. Here is my experience when I started move out process after two years of stay in Prairie Lakes. One lady staff greeted politely wished good morning and the conversation started. I said I'm moving out and don't want to extend lease. Then she said do you have move out date. I said i don't have any move out date at this time but I will not extend lease and will move on or before lease expires. Then she said we need move out date. I said i will discuss and let you know later. After 10 days I went back and informed that I will be moving on lease end date. Now all of a sudden she said I have to give a 30 day notice after move out date then I said why? She politely said it is as per lease agreement. Okay. Now I asked why you did not said on the day when I came and informed you that i will move out on before lease expiry. She said I can't argue. It is as per rules. I have given a letter about this conversation to Property manager but they have ignored my request all together and sent me a notice to pay for extra rent for 10 more days. I don't know why this property is trying different things to pull hard earned money of tenants. Why don't they communicate in Lease extension proposal if tenant is moving out that tenant has to give to give 30 day notice before lease expiry. At least while conversation of move out date why don't they communicate it clear to tenants that they have to give 30 day notice. They will politely say it is on lease. So please be aware of this tactics by our dear property staff will play against you while you move out. So please find other apartments in this area where you can live in peace of mind and exit more smoothly.
Place was amazing...very open, close to food and malls.
Out of the apartments I checked out in the area, this one seemed to be the nicest one for the money and amenities. If there is one drawback, would be the high amount of traffic coming in and out of the complex throughout the day. However, it gets really peaceful at night.
There are residents upstairs from us that tend to be loud at night, but other than this, there are no issues.
It's a great place to live
