I went not too long ago, and the service was not great. The person helping me (didnt even introduce herself) was quite rude. Her attitude and even their demeanor was not great. I think both women were in sweats and tshirts. Not a good way to run a business. I do not want to live in a place where this service is what I will have to deal with when things go wrong.
The day we went to look at the apartment, we stopped at a local restaurant afterwards. The woman who waited on us saw the apartment brochure I was holding and said "whatever you do, don't rent there." We should have listened. After being quoted one price and submitting my application I received an email confirming my application with a much higher rate than I was quoted, which was very unsettling. I attempted to call for clarification leaving several messages and not receiving a call back. I had to go into the office to speak to someone and finally got a copy of the agreement with the correct amount. I was advised on the morning that we were supposed to move in that the apartment was not ready. Throughout the day, the time it was to be ready kept getting later. Finally at 5 PM we went into the office to get the keys and we were assured the apartment was clean and ready. It was not. The bathtubs and toilets were filthy, there was urine on the toilet seat, the patio door was filthy, the floor hadn't been washed, etc. Obviously no one had cleaned it. Even after it was cleaned, it still wasn't that clean. We were promised credit on our next month's rent for the inconvenience. The next month's rent showed no credit. I called several times requesting it be adjusted as promised. I was told the manager would have to approve it. No one called me back for 2 days. I finally adjusted it myself and payed that amount. I also found out at that time that I was being "fined" for not having the electric bill put in my name, something that was not made clear to me. Long story, but basically comes down to poor communication and lack of thoroughness by the office staff. The fine appears to be $75 as I am being charged $95.48 for one week's worth of electricity. I have called the corporate office (JRK Property Holdings) several times and left voicemail messages with no response. My review is too long to finish due to max words allowed. But basically, you are not valued as a customer.
DO NOT EVEN APPLY! We were super upfront with Dustin that my boyfriend had a DUI from 10 years ago and he said it was no problem and to apply. We did and paid the application fees as well as a $350 administration fee that is refundable if you do not get in. We got rejected within a day, and when we looked further they hadn't run any credit checks and I'm assuming no background check either. I immediately asked about how I would be getting the administration fee back and provided my forwarding address. This was in June, it's now February. I've called and spoken with multiple people and emailed a few times. No responses to my emails and everyone on the phone tells me they'll have to look into it and will call me back. Not sure if they're just trying to wait me out or if they're just this disorganized.
Outstanding customer service! Dustin was amazing with providing me with all pertinent information pertaining to the rental process. Dustin was very professional and addressed all my questions and concerns with a smile! Dustin created a very warm and welcoming environment . I am just coming up to a month living here, and thus far I love it!! The maintenance staff is just as wonderful, and very respectful. Thanks Dustin for considering my family and myself to become part of this community, we greatly appreciate it and you! Looking forward to the holidays!!
