What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About La Grange

Quiet . Used to living in the nexts towns over . Easy acesss to the city & airports . Near stores & the movie theater . Also by a forest preserve

I like that there are some businesses nearby that are nice and have good food. I like going to them with my friends.

Many small businesses. Entrepreneurship is at an all time high right now. It's unfortunate there's a quarantine.

The town is real small and safe. Everyone tries to help each other when they need a helping hand. We have a local restraunt that everyone meets at on Friday for the fish fry. Cant wait to catch up on friens lives when virus scare is over.

My favorite thing about my neighborhood is the variety in restaurants that are offered around. You are able to eat out and get a different variety of food for weeks without repeating meals

Overall, the city's population, at an average age of just under 38, skews younger than most cities in Illinois. Renters tend to be in the minority in the area, and 82% of residents own their homes. Relatively high rent costs could play a role, as the average rent of $1,255 per month is substantially higher than the state average of $1,052.
