Grays Pointe Apartments

People are moving out like flies! Maintenace is Terrible & some guys have bad attitudes, especially the Supv. - Glenn (old) & Julian (new supv.). They are disrespectful, mean &refused to do work orders & even close them out so work does not get done. One couple had to suffer for 2 weeks in bad heat before they got a new one. The upgraded apts. are called new but they aren't since they have old A/C's that don't work. Someone went to Grayslake Inspection Office to get new A/C's & got threatened by Glenn - they were seniors & handicap people too. One person had to suffer with no sleep due to loud Fire Alarm going off & Maint. Supv. refused to fix it. You get treated like dirt here.

Both A/C were old & noisy & did not work. The dishwasher never worked during the entire year we lived here. Could not sit out on patio since it was caving in - dirt falling onto it & we had to sweep up the dirt every day. It was extremely noisy & neighbors above us were doing drugs before it was legal & extremely noisy.

I have lived in Grays Pointe Apartments for over 7 years. You should not waste your time living here. There have been several owners over the years that tenants can't keep track. Management does not care about solving any repair problems. For over 1 year the walkway area outside my apartment door was torn up concrete because no carpet was put down. I complained several times to Management but they did not do anything. I even took a picture and emailed it to them and still nothing. The kitchen cabinets were installed incorrectly because they were not aligned with other cabinets. They are at an angle due to poor construction. One shelf is actually backwards. I complained approximately six months ago to Management to address the damage in my bathroom due the walls rotting. I complained three times and all Maintenance did was to take pictures. That was three months ago. I am glad that I am moving out because I have had enough of dealing with Management.

They dont look like the pictures. There is a few upgraded apartments, but not worth the cost. The walls in the apartment are thin. I can constantly here my neighbors water running, or them walking. The rent is cheaper then other apartments around, but I wouldnt settle to save only 100 to 200 a month.
