Great community , unbelievable amenities, service team demonstrates daily that they care about their residents. Apartments are very quiet and upgrades add a nice touch of class. Concierge are extremely courteous. Great place to live.
I have lived at Elm Creek Apartments for over nine years and I have been very happy in my home here. The staff are extremely professional and responsive. If there is an emergency after hours, staff are on call to respond to the situation in a timely manner. I also feel very safe here as I live alone and feeling secure is very important to me. Elm Creek is conveniently located to a number of major expressways so it is easy to get around. The complex offers a number of social events throughout the year: Christmas/New Year parties; /football/Super Bowl events and summer gatherings which I feel is very unique to Elm Creek. The city of Elmhurst is a lovely place to live as is Elm Creek Apartments.
The shower head in the restroom is leaking water all over the floor when I turned on the shower
The rent is high and I expect the exterior to look inviting. My dirty front door is not attractive.
The staff are all very nice and the maintenance team work very hard and are always courteous.
Moving here was a mistake. The common grounds are well maintained and modern. The individual units have old appliances (not stainless as noted in the literature) that have physical damage making them look beat up. The management refuses to swap them out. Because of their age it costs significant money to use the appliances. Nothing is modern. They needed to be replaced years ago. I would dare Aimco to use my unit in their literature. They won't because of the beat up, tired look of the apartment. Plastic floors and old appliances = luxury.
