Lincolnshire West Apartments

I love to cook so this apartment has been perfect for me and my kids. Its one of the biggest I've had in an apartment and there is tons of storage in the pantry, which I love. Having room for a table in the kitchen has been really helpful as i can sit the kids down to do homework or whatever while I cook.

Parking can be frustrating here with the way its set up, but I love the feel of the place. Its tucked away and you never realize how close it is to the college.

this has really been a great place for me. I love being able to walk to Huskie Stadium.

Good place overall. Can't beat the location. Only a couple of blocks from campus. Wish the parking was better though.

Is this a college only area or can anyway one stay

Wouldnt give me a chance, even if I have a background you should never turn someone down that needs a place to go

I lived at Lincolnshire West for 3 years while going to NIU and I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say. The maintenance is the best you could ask for: friendly, quick, and always have a solution for even the simplest problem. Everyone at the office is friendly and extremely helpful. They never forgot me or my boyfriend’s name. I always felt safe when I lived here and that was very important to me when living off campus and away from home. On top of all of that, they are always looking to improve the complex. In the three years I lived there they updated laundry rooms, balconies, the entire pool, and many of the units. You absolutely cannot go wrong with staying at Lincolnshire.

What can I say about Lincolnshire West. It’s nothing but the best in DeKalb. Yes, it costs a pretty penny, but it is 100% worth it. The complex is secure, safe, and close to campus, its bus routes, and the student gym. The rooms are large and it surprisingly has a half bath, most apartments don’t. The maintenance is top tier and the apartments are very clean. Being able to watch the games or walk over to the tailgates is a huge benefit. The laundry units are fine, the mail room is run well, the computer lab is very useful, and I didn’t really use the pool but it looks great after the remodel. Nick T was a fantastic property manager and always took care of me and my roommate and always answered all of our questions whenever asked. They truly deliver on all their features and promises. I loved living here the past two years during my time at NIU.

I have been living here for almost 3 years now, going into my 4th year. Before choosing LW, I looked at other places in the Dekalb area. Some other places were nice and around the same cost, but they over charge pet rent as well as not in a good area. So choosing LW was the best decision for me. The office team is very understanding in terms of my partner and myself being Deaf, so we are a little on the loud side at times, but the community has accepted it just as well as long as we try to quiet down by 9-ish pm. Pet rent are so much cheaper than other places, so if you move here, you better be an animal lover in case your neighbor has a noisy dog closeby. I highly recommend living here for a lot of different reasons. Just don't rev up your convertibles because that scares the pets our community have.

As a student it was a nice surprise finding a place this close to campus where it felt like people cared about where they lived. Community is good, location is good, Nick and the others are more than happy to help with a majority of problems youd ever have.

I moved here to attend NIU and my experience has been overwhelming positive. The NIU bus stops right at the entrance to the property and campus is a short walk in the back of the property. As far as the staff goes the leasing office staff are all helpful and easy to talk to. My favorite part about living here is probably that maintenance is included, Ive had to call maintenance 3 times in the 4 years I lived here but they were able to fix the problem the same day.

Absolutely love living at Lincolnshire ! The people that work here always able to answer my questions ! Definitely recommend Living here ! Such a safe & welcoming complex.

Lincolnshire West is a great place to live for families, college students and everyone in between. I thoroughly enjoy its location relative to the NIU campus, as I am a student there, and none of my classes have ever been more than a 10 minute walk away. The football stadium is essentially my backyard, which is great for when there are tailgates and football games. The staff is always friendly and helpful. 100% recommend Lincolnshire West

Great complex with great people who work there! I feel like I always get quick responses when I need help and my apartment was maintained will when needed. Price is worth what you pay, and I could not say more good things about this complex.

Lived there a year and I miss that apartment every day...great place to live
