      Huge Floorplan w condo feel. So much space for the price and unit i like has a rooftop deck.

      To the potential renter(s)let me give you an insight from a current tenant, so that hopefully, this review will allow you to make a more sound, and informative decision prior to signing a lease here. PROS: The size of the units are relatively larger than other apartments in Chicago. The ceilings are high, the appliances are good valued appliances, each unit has a balcony, which is attractive if youre looking to escape the typical small cookie cutter apartments. There are two separate gym rooms (weight and cardio) and the overall appearance is up-to-date. CONS: Ask the leasing manager about the noise levels in the apartment building. Specifically, ask if there has been any noise complaints about the neighbors around the unit of interest. Get their response in writing. The building here does not have good insulation, especially in the floors, so the typical sounds of apartment living (doors being shut, people walking, talking, the water faucet being turned on, etc.) is going to be more apparent than an apartment that has good insulation. These types of noises are bearable when you have neighbors who are considerate and cognizant of the sounds. HOWEVER, when you add in neighbors who are excessively loud and noisy, domestic arguments, the smell of weed through your vents that you go to bed and wake up high, disturbed by late night intimate sounds, the cops are familiar with getting called on, the list goes on. In the last year and halfI am the SECOND tenant to live in my unit, who has ended their lease early due to the disturbances from the SAME neighbor. If you do complain about noise levels from your neighborhave it all in writing. I have about 10 months left but am moving out early. My peace of mind is more important than having to deal with the noise levels, and litigation will cost more than what can be financially recovered. Just look elsewhere at this point.
