What Renters Like and Dislike
What Renters Like and Dislike About Burbank
We have many parks and they have many programs for young children and adults they have seasonal activities that are family oriented
It is a mostly peaceful neighborhood of different neighbors inconvenient necessities nearby such as grocery stores police station schools etc.
My neighborhood is unique because it has very caring neighbors. My favorite local business is the restaurant called Les Brothers because they have been in the neighborhood for a very long time and the employees are very friendly. My family and friend's favorite place to go to is our local park it is very messy but it is the closest and funnest.
The neighborhood is located within easy access to almost everything: shops, fresh produce stores, restaurants: big chains and family-owned. I love being able to get different types of cuisines, like Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Polish, Greek, American, etc. I love taking my child to all of these restaurants.
Theres a few good restaurants chucks and maple n jams. Oak lawn has all the businesses and bars. Burbank has fast food only.

All About
Living in Burbank, IL
Burbank, Illinois is a small city with a population of just over 28,000. The city's residents, at an average age of just over 38, skew younger than most cities in Illinois. Renters tend to be in the minority in the city, and 78% of residents own their homes. With an average rent of $1,145 a month, exceeding the state average by $93 per month, relatively high rent costs could be playing a role in the higher levels of ownership.
Burbank has a high concentration of residents over the age of 25 who possess a high school degree or GED (26%) compared to the national average. In addition, 9% have earned a Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, or Doctoral degree. Many Burbank residents work in one of two industries: retail and manufacturing. Together, these industries make up 13% of the labor force in the city. Meanwhile, looking at job function, many of the city's workers are in sales, as 8% of the city's population reports this as their field of work, the highest number of any field. With an average annual income of about $68,000, Burbank workers bring in less than their peers elsewhere in the state. The city's average income also falls below the national average of $73,345.
With an average commute time of about 36 minutes, longer than most cities in Illinois, Burbank residents find that getting to work takes some patience. Many residents (39%) commute to work by car or truck, while public transportation is used by only 3% of the population. Walking isn't a common way to get to work.
