I emailed management asking to schedule an appointment to see three specific layouts a week before I even went in. They emailed me back in a pretty timely fashion and said yes of course come and we will show you. So, I drove up there after work. I walked in the main office door and a woman was sitting at the desk to my right. My first impression was that there was a stack of delivery packages just spread all across the floor. A mess. She did not look up from her computer screen for a good minute or two and I'm just standing there waiting. I'm then asked can I help you? In a less than friendly way to say the least. Like my presence annoyed her. I explain that I've made an appointment and what I'm looking for. She says to me " I have no idea who you talked to but, no we can't show you any of those." She said all she has is one of the one bedrooms she can show me. I asked her if all the finishes would be the same as at least then I could get an idea of what to expect. She said no they are all different. She offered no other assistance to show me around or work with me. We were having what seemed to be a stare off as I was waiting for her to offer Up some kind of alternative to show me. She had nothing further to offer me and So, at that point awkwardly I left not seeing anything. Not even the workout room, pool, etc. If this was her attitude towards a potential renter I can only imagine how she would act if I was already renting!!! Reading these reviews I am not surprised by my experience.
Unruly tenants, common areas are dirty, main entrance doors remain broken, tenants were not fully disclosed the rate of the water usage would double and for some triple, area around the garbage dumpsters are gross, and walls are very thin to the point you can hear your neighbors talking. I felt my concerns were not taken seriously by the leasing management.
The first few months were a bit hectic. The new management made it harder for tenants by removing the 24-hour rent drop box and removing the resident portal on the web site, which allowed us to easily report issues in our units. The past owners were extremely responsive, and very convenient. The apartments are very noisy. I have complained about the tenants above me, who have a small child who makes a LOT of noise in the early morning and late at night.
This apartment community has the most convenient location. Great in-unit amenities washer, dryer, dishwasher, pantry(in most units). It would be nice to see more community actives, like game night. The previous owners would host Saturday morning brunch once a month, Easter egg hunting, summer horseback riding, pumpkin patch access for residents.
I am in a townhouse, and it is freezing cold at the bottom of my stairs. Also takes a very long time for hot water to reach the bath tub, causing higher water usage.
