When you first move in, you think you get a good deal, free internet, washer/dryer, water, etc. Sadly, the other former tenants are right. They do raise the rent every year. Living here for three years and each time, gets raised. Looking for another place. Other than that, the place is beautiful, friendly staff, nice gym, and fun pool.

Moved from out of state and it has been such a smooth transition. Beautiful location, love it here already! You will never wonder if you made the right decision in moving here.

My Husband and I have loved it here. The grounds are clean and office staff helpful. Maintenance gets to things quickly and are very nice. No complaints here!

Please read the reviews below, about the increasing rent. I lived here for almost three years, and these people commit highway robbery on a daily. I DO NOT recommend living here, unless you plan on squandering your life savings.

They are constantly looking for ways to keep every penny of your deposit, raise your rent in every way possible, etc.

I had faulty drains, and SO MANY BUGS!! Aggressive spiders, earwigs, and other nasties. There were stains on the carpet upon move-in, the paint on the walls was peeling, outlets didn't work, cupboards had been stripped, and wall corners had been chewed. They slopped some paint over it and called it good. Didn't even bother trying to hide it.

Nobody leashes their dogs, and one lady near the sidewalk has her aggressive pit chained to her porch instead of walking it. Two tenants don't even take their dogs out and just let them pee and poop all over their porch. It smelled horrendous. The office says two dogs, and they had four.

They don't inform you that your lease is coming to an end, and then charge you up the wazoo in increased rent.

Please stay away, and do not make the same mistake I did! I gave them too many chances.

We would like to give some insight as to why the increases were larger than expected: Many of our residents moved in during our construction and received very large construction specials, which discounted the rent a significant amount. As those residents' rents have been brought even with the rest of the property, we do not anticipate these kinds of rent increases moving forward. The Fields at Gramercy is a high quality living environment. A significant amount of work goes into building, operating, and maintaining apartments to our high standards. That being said, the market is what dictates what we can and cannot charge. To continue operating as a business, we follow the market trend, whichever way it goes. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope that we have helped resolve any confusion or disappointment surrounding the rent increase. We are always willing to meet with our residents to answer any questions they may have.

I can't believe they put a notice on ours doors TODAY increasing rent and you have to give notice TODAY to give them notice if you can't afford the increase in rent to give them there 30 days notice of moving out. Very unprofessional. I really liked living here but not any more. Hopefully they don't do that to the next renters. It's hard enough to move. I was hoping this would be a place I would be for a while and could call home. Note new potential residents they increase the rent 150. every year from which I have experienced. . Please keep this in mind new renters.
