Excellent community with spacious apartments and lots of options for payment as well as an office that keeps a wide range of hours.
Amber Place Apartments, in my opinion, is the best apartment community in Warner Robins. The staff is very nice and professional, and it's very peaceful on the property. Great place to live!
I have lived here since Feb 2018. The application process was typical. I had to get proof of renters insurance and confirm electric was in my name. I applied with Flint energy and was given my account number which I provided to Amber place. Due to an error on Flint energy's part, my name was never put on the account. I was informed of this when Amber place received my electric bill. I promptly reimbursed Amber Place and once again contacted Flint to ensure they had the account put in my name. Flint dropped the ball yet again. My second bill again was sent to Amber Place. I received a nasty text from management demanding that I reimburse them within 24 hours plus pay a 75 dollar noncompliance fee. I explained that I contacted Flint on several occasions and was informed everything was set. Amber place management insists that it is an error on my part as they have never experienced an issue with Flint. This is the first time I have ever rented an apartment. I recently moved here for a job. Prior to moving to GA I owned my home. I never have experienced an issue with putting utilities in my name. The management here is rude and condescending. The office is supposed to be open until 6 pm. I have called them right after work at 5:30pm on several occasions only to get the voicemail. The complex is very pretty But there is dog poop every where. Why people don't pick up after their pets is beyond me. People drive way too fast regardless of the speed bumps. I rent a space to keep my camper. They gave me the wrong key to get into the lot. When I told them my key didn't work they accused me of using my mailbox key. Maintenance came to look at the key and realized it was the wrong key. My lease is up in nine months. I am truly counting down the days. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs.
These may be labelled as Luxury Apartment Homes, but dont let that fool you. Though the apartments seem nice at first glance, theyve gone to great lengths to save every penny they can and make living there uncomfortable for the tenants. Weve lived here now for 7 months and were happy to be leaving.
Though youll be paying $60/year for pest control, weve only had the pest control guy come to spray the house once. Weve had issues with roaches and silverfish throughout the apartment and have set up traps ourselves to help deal with it.
Dishwasher never cleans all the dishes on the first cycle. Many dishes will need rewashed.
Toilet seat sits about 15 tall, essentially a childs toilet. When we first moved in, it wasnt sat correctly at all and wobbled a lot. Due to this, it leaked onto the vinyl flooring. Toilet handle broke as well since it was a very old toilet. We asked for a replacement toilet and management refused. I cant comfortably use the toilet in my own apartment.
Vinyl Flooring has shifted and come up in the bathroom and kitchen due to water damage. Maintenance knew about it, said theyd fix it, and never did.
HVAC doesnt seem like its ever been cleaned. All air vents are full of dust. Expect the dust to return to the vents after a few months of living there.
A/C circulation seems very poor. We have to run the A/C as 66 at night, and still end up hot most nights.
We bought a house. Planned on subleasing our apartment as it is in the leasing contract. Contract has details about it, as long as management gives final consent to the new tenants. Weve done this with other apartments in the past with no problems. I went to the leasing office to just confirm this and was told, We will never give consent to anyone subleasing. I asked why, and the leasing agent just said, I dont know, we just dont. Now I must pay an additional $1,855 for early termination fee. BE WARNED ABOUT THIS!!!
The great school district is why I, and most others with children, choose to stay here. Unfortunately, living conditions have declined in the past couple of years. Office staff are friendly enough, but never really fix any issues/complaints. The grounds used to be kept meticulously clean, but now there is trash, dog feces, etc. littering the grounds. Many residents continually speed(knowing there are children that play outside). Mgmt has been notified, but do nothing.
