I just recently moved from West Haven after living there for 3 years. When I first moved there the complex was under a different management and it was absolutely a better place to live and the people in the front office cared about the people who lived there. After 2 years of living in a 2 bedroom apt I transferred to a 1 bedroom apt. After a week of living there, my neighbor was moving out because of bad flooding that occurred in her apartment. She explained that the person who previously lived in my apartment also experienced flooding . She explained that they never told her there maybe a flooding issue and that she would loose her deposit and still have to pay cancellation fees if she left. She was gone a few days later. Fast forward to months later, I walk into my house and notice black decay on the trimming of my wall. It was mold. I look around and there doesn't seem to be leaking anywhere so I walk into my laundry room and look behind my dryer and low and behold there is disgusting black mold on the lower half of the wall and water stains/ bubbles on the ceiling. This is where the nightmare begins. To keep a very long horrific story short, I told them I heard water leaking 4 months before finding the mold and they never fixed what ever the issue was. They change maintenance companies every few weeks so its always new people coming to your apartment doing the same crap over and over. The mold spread to my bedroom closet, damaging 6 pairs of my shoes and some jeans. I was ofcourse not reimbursed and it was not covered in my insurance because it wasn't an "ACT OF GOD" *rolls eyes*. After dealing with a new manager Hiran (this after being cursed out by Matt, a very rude person who was promoted even after complaints to corporate) I immediately moved out paying all of my fees. Fast forward again to this morning I get a call from them saying that I owe them $30 and that they would send it to collections. The company should be ashamed of how they treat tenants
The apartment is fine. However, the office staff isvery unprofessional and unresponsive. They constantly losing maintenance requests, documents, and even check payments. In addition to that, they have so many problems with the garabage container and the entrance to the subdivision. (It is better to pay online). Do a favor to yourself, rent in another place.

The photos posted are not what the majority of apartments here look like. We have holes in our walls. No joke. Theres a hole behind the toilet thats fixed with duct tape to stop bugs coming in. We asked repeatedly for it to be fixed and no one ever did so we taped it. The carpet isnt nailed down. Its buckled because its literaly just lying on the particle board below it. Bugs get into our bathroom and kitchen often. We have to personally spray weekly. That at least helps to keep them scurrying across the living room floor only once a week. Youll soon learn to turn on the light before stepping anywhere - thats a quick lesson after the second time you step on a big roach or water bug. The outside of our building is filthy. If you dont like spiders, youll be grossed out walking to your apartment because there are cobwebs all over the railings. Weve asked for it to be cleaned for going on 2 months now. Maintenance is laughable. Theyll send you an email or a call and say your issue is fixed and it isnt. We were told our power outlet was fixed. Got home and plugged a lamp in and it didnt work. Thats just one example of many.
The office staff is great at luring you in. Theyre then not available ever again after that. The gate is broken often.
Dont move here. Youll regret it. I promise. We do.
