Tucker Square

I've recently had to relocate after being forced. My roommate and I were leasing a unit with in Tucker Square apartments. Due to a pipe collapsing in our kitchen that caused our unit to flood. Flooded so much that it ruined kitchen ware and reached the bedrooms down the hallway. Communication with the property manager and her management team was very unprofessional. we spent a week in a inhabitable unit where we couldn't cook and had to remove kids out the unit until the issue was solved. within that week we had to do our own maintenance meaning they left the wet vacc in the unit for us to get the water up when they have 24 hr maintenance. they sent emails about charging us for the inhabitable unit and stating that we were still lease holders. well in their lease it states that the termination of the lease ,due to an act of God , that the tenants are not responsible. the lease was terminated by default not by us. We was promised to speak with a regional manager because the units she offered us to transfer in was smaller than our original. We wanted to discuss accommodations and lowering rent for the smaller unit. We was not signing a new lease until we spoke with the regional manager. Not once did we speak to a regional manager and when asked when will there be a meeting, PM stated "when you turn in the keys for the other unit". upon returning the keys, PM was not in office and we spoke to another person in the office who stated that since we wasn't signing a lease that we have 30 days to vacate the property. WE confirmed that it was suppose to be a written notice but none was given.
Property manager doesnt know anything about the property. I had to educate her about the rooms not being move in ready and also about size. Shes also unaware of whats being advertised on their website. She barely know who she hires . The employees are terrible. I would recommend a shelter before I recommend someone living here .

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Management and maintenance are terrible. Theyll lie about everything . Property manager doesnt know her property or what being advertised. They say move in ready but tell you they have to clean . Thats their favorite line. Security and maintenance work together . Theyll lie on tenants to get lease violations. Ex. Pets should always be on a leash. I got pictures of security with a pet and no leash not even cleaning up after it. I have pictures to prove everything and recordings. I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE. Its a set up .
