Market 100 isn't a bad place to live.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and they know residents by name. The maintenance staff is also great, and they keep the landscaping up nicely.
The apartments themselves are outdated. The apartments do have a nice amount of space, except for the kitchen, which is very small. Some cosmetic improvements could go a long way- the kitchens and bathrooms need to be upgraded. From what I have seen since I moved to Statesboro, there are nicer, more updated apartments elsewhere with similar or slightly higher prices. I think it's probably worth it to pay a similar price or a bit more for a nicer place somewhere else (although I have not been in one of the upgraded apartments here- they do have some that are upgraded that you can rent for a price increase). I would not recommend renting one of the standard apartments.
this is a good place to live but room mate matching program is really bad and some staff are very arrogant
I honestly don't know which is worse. The management or the WiFi, neither are dependable to get the job done. It was much better under University Village management, Ms. Lynn and Wallace. They were friendly and welcoming. Meredith and Abby/Allie (whatever) have to be the rudest people I have ever come into contact with working customer service. It's not just about collecting money every month, but more so making your community a fun place to live. I literally just had to ask Abby to lower her voice when talking to me which she refused because I had an "attitude" and that was her "normal" voice. However the very nice girl at the desk had no problem helping me and answering my questions. If you're thinking about moving here, save yourself the disappointment. That's literally all it has been month after month. They have the lowest rates in town, the poorest WiFi in town, the smallest room/bathroom in town, and the worse management in town ! So you definitely get what you pay for.
well to start of the apartment at move in was not at its very best. There was paint scraping out of walls. The heat covering in the bathroom was coming off. the stock shelves are poor craftsmanship. It is located in a very dead part of the town and is expensive for that location. the walls are very poor quality. the paint is very poor quality. And its expensive.
It's a nice community I just wish the pool stayed open later and the maintenance people fixed problems faster.
