My girlfriend lives here and I was going to move in until she told me they are the worst maintenance service ever. She's been without air conditioning since Memorial Day til today 6/2/18. She have spoken with management and they continue to give lame excuses of why they haven't made the repair. Be aware, you get what you pay for!

I'm only giving this place a 1 star rating bc the property itself looks nice, and because I can't give it a zero. I absolutely hate living here. When I moved in they put me in a diff apt then I was shown and neglected to tell me it had a nice view of the active train tracks. Not to mention my a/c was broken when I moved in, the floor had sagged over an inch, and if I turned the lights on at night roachs rushed in from the woods. I imediately asked to switch units bc they sold me something I hadnt walked prior to moving in. After fighting with management to avoid paying a transfer fee, they moved me to another unit which I couldn't occupy for 3 weeks. I still had to pay rent for the crap hole with no a/c so I stayed with a friend. I got moved into the new unit and I had a leak in my ceiling and a leaky fridge. After making several maintanence requests a hole was cut in my ceiling and the leak was "fixed". The hole remained for a few weeks until I hassled the office enough to finally get someone to fix it. A few weeks later the same thing happened again, only this time no one has ever been back to fix the hole and the leak is still there. I screwed cardboard up to keep insulation from falling on my table. My fridge had a water leak inside of it and I begged to have that fixed when I moved in. It took 3 attempts over a 3 month span before maintanence broke my ice maker to fix the leak, and had to order a new one since the ice maker no longer worked. They installed a new fridge with no ice maker! I live in the "renovated" more expensive unit, but I buy bags of ice. Finally I went back to meet with the property manager for the 3rd time about these problems and she assured me that I would have a new fridge and fix the hole in my ceiling. That was 3 months ago now. I have mold growing in my ceiling around the hole and my a/c unit has broken 3 times this year. Its not even summer yet and this will be the second night I have to sleep in an 85 deg apt!

Lived on the property since 2005; when the name was Tamarron at vinings then 1900 vinings now The Columns.
We have always been comfortable and at home there but
We just received a letter informing us that the property wont be renewing our lease . It wasnt a great shock partly due to the fact that we expected it and that we got a heads up. That they were forcing residents to take their renovated units with a substantial rent increase or relocate. ECI are new owners and we only got 30 days to figure out what were going to do. Talk about short notice... THANKS ALOT. I was paying $ 924 then $ 948 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit total -1013sq.ft. . So if we want to stay were looking at pay over $1300 a month for the same size unit. Its not worth it ; every winter the master bedroom and especially the bath stays freezing cold . But you know I really think it time to move on . And to anyone thinking moving here look at everything, read everything including the fine print on your lease. Good luck!

Excellent is just the word for the rental agent Kyle. His delivery of all pertinent information and questions asked
was very thorough. Apartment viewing was a delight. The distinguish decor is tastefully done. I am more than ready to make this my home.
