Viera At Whitemarsh

I really love living at Viera at Whitemarsh! It is more of a neighborhood feel than an apartment complex! Everyone is very friendly. The office staff is so helpful and friendly and the amenities such as the swimming pool and the 24 hour fitness center are just a few of the Great things Viera has.

We have ran into a few maintenance issues where the previous renters left some residual damage that the apartment wouldn't have known about until after a new resident moved in. There were some issues with the pool not being accessible for almost a month, and our mailbox is so old that it is literally falling off the hinges. After letting the appropriate parties know these things, they responded swiftly and what I can only assume being the best they could do.

I lived here for 2 years and LOVED it... However, once it was taken over by Arcan Capital it all changed. They are unresponsive and irresponsible. They are constantly shutting off the water for repairs and the pool is all screwed up and unusable. Even if I look past those annoyances, I can't bring myself to stay here. Their record keeping is atrocious and the entire complex is full of uhauls because everyone is leaving. If this place is under different management, give it a shot! If it's still Arcan Capital... don't put yourself through it.

The nighborhood is pleasant, quiet, and comfortable. The people that are my neighbors are respectful and very nice.

The staff at Viera are always so nice and courteous. Every time I have had an issue they have gotten it taken care of right away. The only issue is while the apartments are nice, I feel that for the money paid they could be a little nicer, things like super thick coats of paint on the walls, and thin carpet.

*Maintenance requests were not attended to on a timely manner: The staff gave the excuse of short on maintenance workers : Water leaks should not take 10 days of no one checking apartment! *The communication was poor: I had to call or email to check on status and end results for every situation *The apartment had a pet from previous renter when we moved in: the complex did not thoroughly clean before renting apartment to us- dog hair was stuck on all base boards of every room& bad dog smell
