Not enough parking for the residents, too many visitors are not parking in correct areas. Because of Poor sound insulations noises, voices, arguments can be heard thru the walls and floors of the apartments. Poor insulation cause power bills to SOAR out of sight durning the summer months. Too many trees cause poor reception for Dish TV or non-cable users .
So I would just like to start off by saying that this review is based upon the old management company that owned Timberland when we began our rental lease in April of 2019. We lived in the D Building and I can not stress how terrible our year was with this apartment. Treasure, who we signed our lease with, did not let us know that there was a roach infestation stemming from a hole behind the dishwasher that we were unaware of upon moving in. A month later and we realize that there are a lot of German Cockroaches in the apartment and ask if we could have pest control come in and that was when we were made aware of the situation and were put on a weekly pest control schedule. The pest control would spend less than a full minute in our apartment and call it a day and sometimes we would have weeks where they were scheduled to come and never had them show up. In addition to the infested apartment we were moved into, we also had issues with mold due to a leak in the ceiling, from the apartment above us, that we asked them to treat several times and they never did. We also had an issue with the sewage backing up into the entire D building and the management doing almost nothing about it. The carpet stank to the day we moved out. We also had the AC/Heater in our apartment break in November of 2019 and despite us putting in several requests in the online portal and in person, it was still not fixed when we moved out of the apartment in April of 2020. We were able to move out of this apartment and into our new home without bringing the infestation to our new place, but it was at the cost of getting rid of over $3000 worth of our personal belongings. We threw most of our furniture away because it was so infested after a year in that apartment that it was untreatable. So please take it from me: the price of the rent is cheap for a reason and you might pay for it in other ways like my roommate and I did.
Extreme roach infestation. The apartment would not be terrible if they fix this issue but they wont so do not come here unless you love hanging out with generations of roaches at all times of the day.
